This square is the original design of the Colibri (meaning Hummingbird). In the 1930s the Colibri was reissued with a new modernized action and redrawn scale which moved the tuning pins to the more accessible edge nearer the keys. The treble unisons were also upgraded to three strings rather than two as in this older style. The design of this music desk appears in many squares of the time including Steinway and Weber.
